Chichen Itza - The Yucatan Peninsular
Chichen Itza was built by the Mayans around 800 AD. It was discovered by the Europeans in approximately 1566. Made famous by "Incidents of Travel in Yucatan" by John L Stephens and the drawings of F. Catherwood.(ISBN 968-38-0198-6)
